FINE ART RESTORATION SERVICES AND FEES
The cleaning and repair of fine art can be ordered anytime throughout the year, however, work is rarely done on such projects between November through December when other commitments demand attention. Fine art restorations includes restoration of canvas, glass and/or board paintings, sculptures of plaster or paper mache compounds, limited services on paper art such as watercolour, pastel, charcoal etc. and frame repair. The Studio DOES NOT do original document or paper repair, work on metal, glass or ceramic and sub-contracts all gilding to a master guilder.

Because each fine art restoration is unique, fees are based on an hourly rate plus materials used. Estimates can, therefore, only be given when the work is seen either in person or by sending good, clear, detailed photographs, descriptions and measurements.

PLEASE NOTE: THE STUDIO DOES NOT APPRAISE ARTWORK! WE CAN DETERMINE SOME HISTORY RANGE BASED ON MATERIALS, STYLES AND SUBJECT MATTER OR DETERMINE AN ORIGINAL FROM A REPRODUCTION ETC., BUT, DETERMINING CURRENT MARKET VALUE IS NOT A SERVICE THE HEIRLOOM ART STUDIO CAN, OR WILL, PROVIDE.
