PHOTOGRAPHIC DUPLICATION, ALTERATION
AND RESTORATION PORTFOLIO

Kathryn Rutherford, owner of the Heirloom Art Studio, is a highly trained, award winning fine artist who excels in the creation of original oil, watercolour and digital paintings and portraits. She is internationally recognized as an award winning conservation and photographic restoration artisan and a master at altering photographs.

Kathryn has recontructed and rescued countless photographic images and memories for more than a quarter of a century. She has restored original photographs, prints from glass negatives and has duplicated images long before the age of digital technology made photo restoration a household word.

Kathryn's photographic and alteration work is internationally known and has been shipped to seventeen countries throughout the world. Many of her individual restorations are international award winners and have been on display at national sites as well as given the highest awards from prestigious photographic associations such as the Professional Photographers of America, Epcot Center and both the Fuji and Kodak Corporations.

Although Kathryn continues to keep in stride with the changes in photography and the move toward the
digital age, she still continues to restore original photographs wherever possible and offers a unique
selection of duplication options from printing on original photographic and antique fine art papers, canvas,
hand colouring, enlargements up to 24"x36 and even offers a representation of an antique tintype.

All of the images below are National or International Award Winners.
